Scandinavian Wildlife Park

Scandinavian Wildlife Park wants to be a park for everyone. We are a park with plenty of space for both animals and guests, and we believe that we can provide an ideal setting for people who need a little more space, time and understanding in their daily lives. Whether this takes the form of visible or invisible challenges, we will do our best to ensure that all guests feel welcome and have a positive, meaningful experience to take home.

Invisible disabilities and special challenges

At Scandinavian Wildlife Park, we are very aware that not all people are able to navigate everyday life with equal ease. We know that not all disabilities and mental challenges are visible, and that these can be just as difficult for the person affected as visible disabilities. We know that some people need extra time and patience when serving or otherwise approaching staff. Our staff are aware to recognize this and we strive to train staff to best assist and be helpful should the need arise. We are aware of various programs, such as The Sunflower Program, and if you wear the sunflower lanyard, we know of its signaling value.

Access for people with reduced mobility

Scandinavian Wildlife Park is a large animal park where you will have to walk about 4 km to see all the enclosures.
