Practical info

Scandinavian Wildlife Park

Find all the practical info you need about the park so you’re prepared for a wild day in the animal world – naturally!

  • Dog parking

You are not allowed to bring your dog into the park, but to accommodate all dog-loving guests, we have built a dog kennel with 4 dog boxes.

We have placed the dog parking in a shaded area close to the main entrance.

All kennels are equipped with a landing for the dog, a roof and screen for the neighboring dog, along with a water bowl and running water. In addition, 1 “poop bag” is included.

    Conditions

    • It is not possible to book dog parking in advance of the visit.
    • Dog parking is at your own risk, and a form with contact information must be completed when picking up the padlock.
    • You must take your dog to the kennel yourself and lock it up.
    • You can check on the dog as often as needed during your visit.
    • Inquire at the Entrance on arrival for booking and payment.

  • Guide and service dogs

Guide and service dogs are welcome in Skandinavisk Dyrepark.

However, guide and service dogs are not allowed to enter areas where animals roam freely around guests or on footbridges through animal enclosures. There is signage in the park, and you can always ask our staff for help.

The dog must be clearly marked and led on a leash. Leftovers must of course be collected

See map of routes for guide and service dogs

You are welcome to bring your own food to grill from home, but it is also possible to order barbecue packages at The Loghouse Café.

    Picnic tables:

Reservations are usually not necessary, as there are many picnic tables in the park, and we have never experienced that our guests have not been able to find a place to sit.
