Have you ever touched the soft muzzle of a deer? In Scandinavian Wildlife Park, the deer get up close and personal!
In Scandinavian Wildlife Park, the deer can quickly get up close and personal if you have a feed bag ready.
With a feed bag in hand, you’re guaranteed to make friends with both deer and goats!
In the Deer Park, you walk among the animals, so you have to hold on to the bag extra tight!… if not, one of the deer might steal the bag out of your hands.
It doesn’t help to hide the bag in your pocket – the deer have an excellent sense of smell and will quickly find the treats.
If you have more food left in the bag, the petting goats in the playground will definitely help you empty the bag.
The bags can be purchased upon arrival at the park in the entrance or at The Kiosk by the playground.
(Please note that The Kiosk has varying opening hours and some days may be closed).
The feed bags can only be purchased at these two locations due to hygiene regulations from the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration. As some days it will only be possible to buy feed at the Entrance, it is a good idea to buy the feed bags upon arrival.

Guidelines
It is only allowed to feed the animals with the specially made feed sold in the Entrance.
The animals have a complicated digestive system, which is why it is strictly forbidden to feed them with food brought along.
Remember to wash or sanitize your hands after feeding.
