Food during an overnight stay

When you spend the night in Scandinavian Wildlife Park, breakfast is included, but you prepare your own dinner over a campfire or on the grill. Bring your own food or order from the Loghouse Café.

Meals

Breakfast is included in your visit, but you are responsible for the other meals.

You can choose to either bring your own dinner or let the Loghouse Café arrange for the preparation.

  • Breakfast – overnight stays

    Breakfast is included and served as a buffet at 08.30 – 09:00 a.m. in the Loghouse Café. It normally includes rolls, butter, cheese, jam, nutella, honey, rolled oats, milk, orange- and apple juice, as well as coffee and tea.

The Loghouse Café

The ordered food ic placed either in the Dining Room’s refrigerator or in the outdoor kitchen’s refrigerator when you stay in the shelters, no later than 6 p.m.. 
  • Grill package

    Price:

    149 kr. pr. person / 109 kr. pr. child (3-11 år incl.)

    Content:

    • 2 kinds of organic sausages
    • Chicken skewer
    • Potato salad
    • Corn on the cob
    • Bread rolls
    • 3 sauces

    Note, that with this menu you do the final cooking yourself.

  • Burger package

     Price:

    DKK 65,00 per person

    Content:

    • Large beef patty  (1 per person)
    • Brioche burger bun
    • Iceberg lettuce, tomato, cucumber and pickled red onion
    • Cheese
    • Ketchup
    • Mayonnaise

    Note, that with this menu you do the final cooking yourself.

Facilitis for cooking

You are free to use the facilities, no matter if you order food here or bring your own.

  • Shared between all groups
    • Grill/barbecue by the playground
    • Restrooms in walking distance from both camp sites. There’s no access to a shower.
  • Facilities – Saami Tent/Lavvu
    • Outdoor kitchen
      • Electric kettle
      • Sink with access to cold water
      • 2 hot plates
    • Picnic tables
    • Refrigerator
    • Spot for a campfire, firewood and tools for lighting the fire.
    • Sticks for cooking marshmallows over the fire
    • Bonfire popcorn net (provided by staff)

    If you don’t order food with the accommodation, you will also need to bring pans, pots, kitchen knives, cutting board, tea towels, kitchen roll, dishwashing soap and brush.

  • Facilities – shelter campsite

    Remember, that if several groups stay at the shelter campsite at a time, they will share these facilities.

      • 2 hot plates
      • Coffee maker
      • Plates and cutlery for 25 people
      • Refrigerator
      • Spot for campfire, firewood and equipment for lighting the fire (1 set for each shelter)
      • Tripod, pot and pan to cook over the fire (1 set for each shelter)
